Meet the Artist

My name is Tammy Budnovitch. I have been writing Pysanky since I was a little girl. It’s one of my Ukrainian traditions that I love the most and love to share with others. I have been teaching since 2011. I teach throughout NEPA, New Jersey and Philadelphia. My hope is that when someone takes a class they continue making Pysanky either on their own in their home or at my classes. Ukrainians believe as long as Pysanky are written, good will prevail over evil. 

Besides writing Pysanky, I create jewelry and mosaics pieces with broken Pysanky eggs.
